Saunders Wool is a Tasmanian family owned business established in 1982 by Managing Director Bob Saunders. The company has gone from strength to strength to become Tasmania's leading wool buyer, wool broker and exporter of greasy wool. Saunders Wool is unique in that also buys Tasmanian wool at auction and on Auctions Plus to fulfill orders, so although you may not deal with us directly we are supporting ALL TASMANIAN WOOLGROWERS.

The company is located in what was the L.W. SMITH wool processing plant, in Launceston, which in it's day was the largest facility of it's kind in the Southern Hemisphere.
